I got my start creating promotions for O, The Oprah Magazine. (Side note: Yes, I met Oprah. No, I did not get a car.)

I was the Associate Creative Director at Mirum, where I came up with advertising campaigns and integrated marketing plans for national brands and top retailers.

Most recently, I bring my copy and conceptual expertise to a variety of ad agencies, production companies, consulting firms and media organizations on a freelance basis from my Los Angeles home base.

My writing has been published in the Los Angeles Times, and I write about SoCal hikes/outdoor activities for Weekend Sherpa. For fun, I teach art lessons to a group of amazing 3rd graders (including my son) which has become one of my most rewarding projects yet.

Throughout my 20 year career, I have always stood by this creative philosophy:
